Recycle your sports equipment

We need your help to collect as much used sports and outdoor equipment as possible.
Our commitment to sorting summer sports and leisure equipment is part of our commitment to protecting the environment, in line with the AGEC law, which has approved the Ecologic eco-organization to manage end-of-life equipment.
What equipment is accepted?
We accept vests, boards, wetsuits, flippers, oars, fittings, sails, water skis, canoes, kayaks, bicycles, tennis rackets and balls, as well as all other sports and leisure equipment (except textiles and sneakers).
Where to drop off your equipment?
You can drop off your equipment at the waste disposal center at the Port Vauban, during opening days and hours.
What happens to sports equipment?
Equipment that is too worn or out of use will be recycled or recovered to produce energy. Those that are in good condition or can be repaired will be handed over to associations or recycling centers for a second life, providing an opportunity for people who are far removed from traditional circuits to acquire new equipment.
Who is Ecologic?
Ecologic is an eco-organization approved by the French government to manage several national channels for the prevention and recycling of used or end-of-life products. Since 2006, Ecologic has been contributing to the development of a circular economy by mobilizing all the players involved.
Your participation in this initiative is essential to promote a more sustainable environment and to support our community in its transition to environmentally-friendly practices.
