Drought alert in the Alpes-Maritimes

The Alpes-Maritimes Prefecture has placed the entire department under drought vigilance as of June 2, 2026.
This measure aims to raise awareness among users about the deteriorating hydrological situation across the region. In this context, everyone is encouraged to use water responsibly and limit non-essential consumption.
Given current weather forecasts, water-use restrictions may be introduced in the coming weeks.
