European Heritage Days

The 42nd European Heritage Days will be held on Saturday, September 20 2025.
We welcome you to Bastion Saint-Jaume on Saturday, 20 September from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. for a free day of discovering our local heritage.
On the programme:
• Sea trips and visits to heritage ships on the Heritage Pontoon with members of the Aventure Pluriel association, as well as an entertainment stand on the ‘Quai du Patrimoine’ with a presentation and tour of the ships (reservation required)
• Discussions on the natural heritage of Port Vauban and discovery of maritime heritage with a focus on the underwater species and environments of the port
• Virtual reality stand on the Jardin Poséidon exhibition
• Heritage walking tour on the Quai Julien Baudino, featuring fifteen educational panels tracing the history of the port and its cultural heritage
• Visits to the Sea Rescue ship and presentations of their rescue activities and equipment by volunteers from the Antibes station, accompanied by a stand dedicated to the SNSM
• A meeting with an architect to explore the links between heritage, architecture and innovation
