Port Vauban certified as a “Clean Port Active in Biodiversity”.

Fully aware of the impact of port activities on aquatic and coastal environments, Port Vauban has deployed a voluntary environmental management approach, focused on combating chronic and accidental pollution, training port staff, raising awareness among port users and implementing actions to promote biodiversity. Our environmental approach has resulted in the award of the “Clean Ports” certification, the only European certification specific to marinas (obtained in 2014 and renewed in 2017 and 2020) and the “Clean Ports Active in Biodiversity” certification, to be obtained in November 2021.
