Better knowledge for better protection. This is the objective of this operation which will take place in the Natura 2000 site Bay and Cape of Antibes – Lerins Islands, on Sunday 19 June.
This operation led by the Associations Marineland and Les Aquanautes and the City of Antibes invites boaters and sea users to come and carry out this observation mission to take a “photograph” at a given moment of the entire study area concerned.
The main species likely to be observed: blue and white dolphin, bottlenose dolphin, sperm whale, fin whale, loggerhead turtle, moonfish, jellyfish, bluefin tuna and also… waste!You will be able to collect essential data and be helpful in protecting the marine world.
