New environmental certification
10 December 2021
This certification rewards our commitment and the quality of our environmental actions. It brings us one step closer to our objective of serving as an example in terms of integration into the environment, conservation and development of biodiversity.
It is excellent news and recognises a year of collaboration. It marks the start of a brand new stage for Port Vauban, which we will outline in a major action plan in early 2022:“We will now be able to take concrete actions. Our main focus will be on revegetating, safeguarding and creating habitats for marine and land wildlife and forming R&D partnerships so our port can integrate more harmoniously into its environment and enhance biodiversity.” explains Marion Lefevre, Port Vauban’s Environmental Officer.
We would like to warmly thank those who helped us become a “Ports Propres Actifs en Biodiversité”: the staff at Vauban 21 and the CCINCA, the port police captain and officers, the Sea and Coastline Department of the Ville d’Antibes, the yachting associations, professionals working in the port and the users of the port, our service providers and partners: AAPP architects, Blue Marine, Ecocean, Ecotank, Pollustock, Serahu, Sud Est Assainissement, Villa Thuret/INRAE, civil protection, gendarmerie and fire brigade of Antibes.
