Port Vauban supports Esteban Hernandez
17 December 2025
Port Vauban supports sailor Esteban Hernandez in his preparation for the Mini Transat 2027, a solo transatlantic race sailed without assistance or communication.
At just 25 years old, Esteban Hernandez is taking on an extraordinary challenge: competing in the Mini Transat 2027, a solo transatlantic race sailed without assistance or communication. Born in Nice and passionate about sailing since childhood, he has been sailing since the age of 4 and secured a 56th place at the 2024 Mini World Championship.
In 2022, he took a decisive step by acquiring a Pogo 3, his first boat dedicated to offshore sailing. He is now preparing his 1,000-nautical-mile qualification before entering the official races.
Port Vauban is proud to support Esteban Hernandez in this adventure, alongside Monaco Marine and other committed partners.
