Inauguration “Village des Artisans” and “Colonnes Vauban”
14 May 2025
On Wednesday 14 May, we inaugurated the “Colonnes Vauban” and the new “Village des Artisans” at Port Vauban.
The event was attended by Jean-Pierre SAVARINO, President of Vauban21, Jean LEONETTI, Mayor of Antibes Juan-les-Pins and President of the Communauté d’Agglomération Sophia Antipolis, as well as Nathalie GRILLI, local councillor responsible for ports and the seafront, and Philippe PROST, from the Atelier d’Architecture Philippe Prost.
The “Village des Artisans” brings together ten specialist workshops, essential for maintaining, repairing and optimising ships: rigging, boiler making, scuba diving, composite repair, tank treatment, propulsion/plumbing, painting, hydraulics, shipchandler and mechanics. On site, you’ll also find a water fountain for refreshments.
The Café des Artisans, open every day from 8.00am to 12.30pm during the summer season, offers a varied menu: traditional breakfasts, brasserie for lunch and dinner, and aperitifs at the end of the day.
