The smaller of the Lérins Islands, Saint-Honorat Island is renowned for its abbey, a listed heritage site. Its vineyard estate produces wines and liqueurs considered reputable by those in the profession. Get your hands on a local bottle by stopping off at the shop, where you will be greeted by the monks with their characteristic hospitality. Also make sure to explore the tenth-century chapels and eleventh-century relics, or lay down your towel in one of the pebbly coves.
