K Ren at Port Vauban

26 May 2026

On Friday, May 29, 2026, from 1 pm to 5 pm, Port Vauban will welcome the K Ren team for a presentation of its innovative antifouling protection solutions for sailing and motor boats.

Based in Mauguio in southern France, K Ren develops protective covers for hulls and all submerged parts of boats, including rudders and engine bases. Using its opaque SqualTeck® technical fabric, the company offers a sustainable alternative to traditional antifouling paints.

The concept is simple: by placing the hull in darkness, algae and shell growth are prevented. No photosynthesis means no fouling.

During the event:
• a ZenDock floating docking station will be demonstrated on a Merry Fisher 8.95 at pontoon B5 in the Old Port. Designed as a “floating garage,” the system remains installed on your berth and allows quick entry and exit.
• the K Ren Protect cover will be presented on a Sun Odyssey at pontoon E4. This tailor-made solution protects all submerged parts of the vessel.
• visitors will also have the opportunity to meet the K Ren team and discuss cleaner and easier boating solutions.

The event will highlight alternatives aimed at reducing haul-out costs, limiting toxic paint pollution and keeping hulls clean throughout the year.
